Thursday was the worst day of my life.

Mason had a seizure. Just typing those words make me feel sick. He is fine now. It was only a febrile seizure caused by a temperature that raised too quickly.

But it was the scariest moment of my life. Holding your child in your arms while they have a seizure is horrible. The postictal state he was in after the seizure was just as bad. I can't really even talk about it yet, it really effected me.

My wonderful neighbor stayed with the children I watch until their father arrived, and Mason and I took a ride in an ambulance that Mason doesn't even remember. He finally started to come around in the ambulance a little bit. It was all awful.

THANKS BE TO GOD that he is a-okay.

But, it was the worst day of my life, up until he was fine.

I have goosebumps reading it. I can't even imagine how awful that was. I'm so glad he's okay. I feel like I know you guys so well, and I love all these kids. I was so scared for you. But God is good and he's okay now!! :)
