Biggest Lemon EVER..

Courstey of a parishoner at our church. We used the store lemon to compare the size. Mason won't allow us to cut it, but as you will see, he keeps diggin his nails into them so he can smell them.

Thursday was the worst day of my life.

Mason had a seizure. Just typing those words make me feel sick. He is fine now. It was only a febrile seizure caused by a temperature that raised too quickly.

But it was the scariest moment of my life. Holding your child in your arms while they have a seizure is horrible. The postictal state he was in after the seizure was just as bad. I can't really even talk about it yet, it really effected me.

My wonderful neighbor stayed with the children I watch until their father arrived, and Mason and I took a ride in an ambulance that Mason doesn't even remember. He finally started to come around in the ambulance a little bit. It was all awful.

THANKS BE TO GOD that he is a-okay.

But, it was the worst day of my life, up until he was fine.

Just so darn busy!

We are non stop at our house right now. Between working and church things and the holidays around the corner, I feel like we never stop. I'll be back to bloggin' ASAP.

Flashback Friday... (2006)

five question friday

My Little Life

Head on over to Mama M's blog to read the others and link up!

1. Whats your favorite horror movie?
I do NOT do horror movies. If I HAD to pick.. something M Night Shyamalan, I guessssss.

2. Bath tub or Hot tub?
Depends. Is it a huge jacuzzi tub with jets? The Bath Tub for sure, but like a standard tub in a tub/shower combo, I pick hot tub.

3. Do you prefer to view a movie at the theater or at home?
Home. I like to be able to pause. And my husband always fall asleep, so its kind of a waste of money to GO to the theaters.

4. If you could chose a maid, cook or chauffeur, which one would you choose?
Chauffeur. I already don't drive because I'm terrified, so this would be helpful, but I do need a maid.

5. Electric Slide, Boot Scootin' Boogie, or the Macarena?
It's electric, boogie woogie woogie!

Busy Bees...

That is what we are in my household! Between everyday things like work to more special things like my parents coming to visit in about a week!, and lots of going on's at our church, the days seem to just FLY by! And not to mention, our computer at home is completely shot, so with a new baby at work and no computer at home, I am finding it hard to find time to blog. We should be getting a new computer this weekend though, so hopefully I'll be back to more regular blogging soon, maybe not in full effect until after my week off and my parents visit!

Though I'm still reading most of the blogs I read, I am not finding the time to comment or post on my own.

Things with us are good! No more stress producing "family" members breathing down my neck, less financial stress, a week off is around the corner and my parents are coming back down! Looking forward to Halloween and my BIRTHDAY this month too! Along with many fun events and such through our church! AND our favorite baseball team clinched the NL EAST last night! Playoff baseball!!! Go Phillies! Very exciting for us, being 1300 miles away we dont usullay get to watch the games, but we will during the playoffs!

Busy as bees here in the still pretty darn hot deep south!
